You might have noticed that we have a thing for premium audio systems here at Flat-Out. Luckily, we’re living through a purple patch of stylish stereos, such as these new KEF LS50 Wireless Nocturne speakers.

Based on their excellent LS50 speakers, the British audio masters’ latest offering has been given an all-new look courtesy of famous Dutch designer, Marcel Wanders.

Emphasising the circular nature of the LS50’s Uni-Q driver, the design has been inspired by musical notation, with certain elements of the graphic glowing in the dark for an added bit of pizazz (especially as you party on into the night).

Away from the aesthetics, you can use either WiFi or Bluetooth to seamlessly connect your chosen device to the LS50 Wireless Nocturne while there’s no need for any external amplification.

KEF claim that the Uni-Q driver “places the tweeter in the exact acoustic centre of the bass/midrange cone, so that both act as a single point source that disperses the sound more evenly throughout the room than any rival speaker.” There is also subwoofer output.
