We can’t quite believe a year has gone by since we first unleashed Flat-Out Magazine onto the general public but in that time we’ve accomplished some amazing things.
Whether it was soaking up the Northern Lights in the Arctic Circle, thrashing an Indian Scout around the Swiss Alps or catching up with some of the coolest bike builders and automotive creators in the world, Flat-Out has hit a rich seam of cool sh*t.
To celebrate a year of flying by the seat of our pants, we are holding a monumental birthday bash that will bring together everything that makes the site what it is and give a little something back to you readers who have helped get us here.
“We will host some of the machinery that has taken us around the globe during Flat-Out’s inaugural year”
The event will kick off at 4pm on Thursday 22nd March at the awesome S-Bomb Vintage Workshop in Poole, which sits right on the quay front and gives one of the best views of the Twin Sails Bridge in town.
Peel your eyes away from the beautiful surroundings (and the Sunseeker Yachts situated behind the building) and you’ll be treated to a fine array of custom motorcycles, with Side Rock Cycles, Moore Speed Racing and S-Bomb’s own creations taking pride of place inside and out.
There will be a yard that will host a carefully curated selection of automotive exotica, from Jim Cregan’s Ford F100 (that will serve Jimmy’s Iced Coffee White Russians) to an original Honda NSX, via Oval Window Beetles, Splitties, TVRs and more from some of our favourite collectors and tinkerers.
Plus, we will host some of the machinery that has taken us around the globe during Flat-Out’s inaugural year, so you can grab one of the team and be regaled by tales of adventure, breakdowns and gastroenteritis.

Inside, we’ve got the warm and welcoming surroundings of the S-Bomb Vintage Workshop, screens showing some of our favourite Flat-Out films from the past year, live artwork from our friend and logo designer LucanArt and DJ Max Ray who will tear the roof off until closing time.
We’ve also teamed up with the brilliant Eight Arch Brewery based in Wimborne, which will be serving a selection of its fine beers, ales and porters, as well as Dozzers Smokehouse & Grill that will be offering platefuls of awesome food all night.
Plus, we will be revealing our new range of limited edition T-Shirt and sticker designs, which you’ll be able to grab before they run out.
There’s loads more to be announced closer to the time, so keep an eye on our Facebook Event Page for all the details and news.
We can’t wait to share a drink with you all!
Lots of love
Leon & Josh
